Black Bristol

Project Zazi are a part of Off The Record and last year launched their resource “Black Bristol”. Black Bristol is an interactive timeline for young people exploring some of Bristol’s most important history that is often left out of lessons/resources within the education space. Join Black Bristol creative director Lewis Wedlock and young people from Project Zazi’s service as they talk about Black Bristol as well as the importance of accurate historical accounts where education is concerned.

About Lewis

Lewis Wedlock is an activist, academic and social psychologist. He is the social action lead for Project Zazi and one of the youngest lecturers in the UK at 23 years old. In 2020, he was named as one of the most influential young people in the South West for the second time. www.lewiswedlock.com

About Young People of Project Zazi

The young people of Project Zazi engage with Zazi’s services – we will be joined by young people from both the social action group and masculinity groups provided by Team Zazi.
