Leading a Digital Social Action Campaign

What is it? Leading a digital social action campaign

When is it? Friday 30th July from 4:30pm – 5:30pm

Where is it? On Zoom. Book via Eventbrite.

How is it? Pretty good, thanks for asking!

So climate change, huh? Pretty bad stuff. I know we can all look at this and feel like it’s out of our control or there’s too much to do. It’s definitely something we can relate to.

But, where’s there’s a will there’s a way – come along and we’ll talk you about how we’ve launched different social action campaigns as part of the Peace First platform, using digital methodology to reach and engage large audiences, found ways to make decision makers stop and listen to our asks and future-proofed campaigns so they have the power to keep making a difference.

We’ll be giving you our top tips from our experiences, taking you through step-by-step how you can start a social action campaign, and how to build a team so you can make a difference and how Peace First can fund and support your next steps launching a campaign.

A bit about us:

Peace First is an organisation where we help and encourage young people, aged 13-25, around the world to lead social change in their communities. We believe that young people are the professionals on the issues that their communities are facing.

We provide training, mentors and funding to make young people’s campaigns come alive. There are many opportunities for young people to get involved with such as receiving grants, joining social justice camps and so much more.

“Our relationship with nature is broken but relationships can change, when we protect nature, we are nature protecting itself” – Greta Thunberg
