Act for Change Together Podcast Launch

What is it? Act for Change Together Podcast Launch

When is it? Monday 26th July 6:30pm – 7:30pm

Where is it? Zoom. Book via Eventbrite

How is it? Pretty good, thanks for asking!

The Act for Change Together Podcast platforms the experiences of young people across the UK who want to change the narrative on assumptions that have been made about them.

  • They want to tell you that they are more than the label you have assigned to them
  • They want to tell you how you can be a better ally
  • They want you to have conversations with those reinforcing these stereotypes and help them change the narrative

Hosted by Holly, one of the steering group members, The Act for Change Together Podcast Launch event brings together the voices who feature on the 8 episodes to give you snippets of their discussions as each episode features a different set of young people with unique experiences.

This event will also give you more insight into the podcast making process and the challenges they faced along the way in the hope of inspiring others to use podcasting as a tool for conversation.

The festival will release podcast episodes daily via YouTube where you can join us live for a listening party. Click here to find out when each episode will be released.
