This event will explore bid writing and fundraising from a young person’s perspective. Wellbeing Ambassadors from Newport Mind (volunteers aged 14-25) will share their experiences of co-producing and writing bids to help explore how the process could be improved to help young people become more involved in the process.
About the speakers
About Cerys Kerr
I am 22 years old and live in Gwent (South Wales). I have been volunteering with Newport Mind since November 2020 so all I know is the online world of it. I have been involved creating bids for funding for young people! I enjoy doing this because we know the money is going to benefit the young people who use Newport Mind so it is rewarding! Being part of the funding process is important because we see the fund from a young person’s perspective. We can relate more to the people who will be benefiting from the money.
