Annick Météfia and Haneen Hammou, co-producers of the upcoming Shake! Research report will share their learnings from the experience of researching the impact of Shake!’s radical and political youth spaces in the last 10 years.

Stop and Search

Young people of The Warren are joined by the head of stop and search in Hull. We work with many young people who have been through the stop and search process and feel they have been stereotyped not only because of their race but also their age, appearance and gender.

Being a Young Refugee

The Kent Refugee Action Network (KRAN) presents a podcast on the false and harmful stereotypes that refugees confront. Narrated by KRAN's Youth Ambassadors, young refugees describe their reality, made worse by common myths about who they are, and what they seek.

Black Bristol

Project Zazi are a part of Off The Record  and last year launched their resource “Black Bristol”. Black Bristol is an interactive timeline for young people exploring some of Bristol’s most important history that is often left out of lessons/resources within the education space.

Youth Activists for Justice, Peace & Freedom

In this workshop, we share insight into our work with attendees exploring how we can empower young people to heal from violence and envision what peace may feel and look like. We will focus on young people’s perspectives, ideas, experiences and plans for change.

Youth-led bid writing

This event will explore bid writing and fundraising from a young person's perspective. Wellbeing Ambassadors from Newport Mind (volunteers aged 14-25) will share their experiences of co-producing and writing bids.
